Family Information: My husband Jeremy and I, are both from Ringgold, Ga. We have one child.

Experience:After college I went to work in advertising sales representing 35 major cable networks (HGTV, ESPN, TBS, ect...) selling advertising to local business in Chattanooga and surrounding areas. I worked in advertising for 5 years then went back to school to get my Real Estate License. At that time I was pregnant with our first child and wanted a more flexible schedule. Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, I sold Real Estate for 3 1/2 years. I retired my license in October 2009 to stay at home with our little boy full time.

Why JBF?Just Between Friends has been in the Chattanooga area for a little more than 3 years. What a wonderful concept to be able to sell your childrens items you are no longer using and buy new as they grow so fast. JBF is so organized and the items are such good quality.  I hope JBF blesses families in this area. 

Goals:My goal in taking over an established business is to continue the wonderful success and positive reputation it has had in Chattanooga. I want to continue the reputation of this sale having quality items for families here in Chattanooga.
Over the next couple of years I want JBF to be huge! I want this to be THE SALE families are talking about and looking forward to.

Interests:I love spending time with my family. I am a creative person so I also love to scrapbook and to sew.
How did you find out about JBF: I have been shopping at JBF since my little boy was born, and consigning with JBF since 2005. When my little boy was just a couple of months old my mom and I heard an advertisment on the radio for the sale and what a blessing to find somewhere to be able to clothe my child and not break the bank! I also volunteered at JBF in 2008. What a wonderful and rewarding experience that was.

What led you to apply to be a new owner: The opportunity to be the new owner of JBF was an answered prayer. I love being at home with my little boy, however my husband and I were needing and praying for an opportunity to be able to help with the family income and flexible enough to still have plenty of the family time.

How did the current economic situation affect your decision to buy JBF?
Right now with the economy being down families need all the help they can get in taking care of their children. Buying just any business in this economy might not make much sense, however buying a businees that helps families in this economy did make sense. Whether the economy is good or bad families are always looking for deals on items for their children. JBF is such a blessing for many buying and selling items for their family.
